Solar Magnetic Field Data
DESCRIPTION:
This data was measured by the Ulysses spacecraft as it traversed
heliographic latitudes 43 deg S (day 338, 1993) to 62 deg S (day 144, 1994) with a corresponding heliocentric range of approximately 4 to 3
astronomical units, respectively (an astronnomical unit is defined as the mean
distance between the Earth and the Sun). The data are daily averages of the magnetic field
strength measured in nanoteslas (nT).
