Flush messages to dialog handler program
DESCRIPTION:
Flushes the communications buffer used for sending messages to the dialog
handling program, so the dialog handler can act on the messages.

USAGE:
dialog.flush(...)
OPTIONAL ARGUMENTS:

arguments are passed straight through to the lower level
pflush
function.
SIDE EFFECTS:
The dialog handling program receives any queued messages and acts on them.
