Use predict() on a "censorReg" Object

DESCRIPTION:

Extracts the fitted values from a censorReg object and returns a list of predictions.

USAGE:

predict.censorReg(object, p = c(0.1, 0.5,0.9), q = NULL, newdata = NULL, 
    type = c("probability","response"), se.fit = F, conf.interval =T,  
    coverage = 0.95)  

REQUIRED ARGUMENTS:

object
a object of class "censorReg".

OPTIONAL ARGUMENTS:

p
a vector of probabilities at which response predictions are desired.
q
a vector of quantiles at which probability predictions are desired.
newdata
a data frame containing the values at which predictions are required. This argument can be missing, in which case predictions are made at the same values used to compute the object. All those predictors referred to in the right side of the formula in object need to be present by name in newdata.
type
type of predictions, with choices "probability" (the default) or "response".
se.fit
logical value indicating whether or not to return pointwise standard errors.
conf.interval
logical value indicating whether or not to return pointwise upper and lower confidence bounds of the predictions.
coverage
numeric value specifying the confidence level for the confidence intervals.

VALUE:

a vector or matrix of predictions, or a list consisting of the predictions , confidence intervals and their standard errors if conf.interval=T and se.fit = T.

DETAILS:

This function is a method for the generic function for class censorReg. It can be invoked by calling for an object x of the appropriate class, or directly by calling regardless of the class of the object.
