Creates a Pareto plot (vertical bar plot) of coefficients or t-values
of linear regression model.
USAGE:
pareto(fit, type = "coefficients", sig = 0.05, xmax,
prt.values = T, shade = F, ...)
REQUIRED ARGUMENTS:
fit
the output from an
lm model.
type
one of either
"coefficients" or
"tvalues" determining whether
coefficients or t-statistics are plotted.
sig
In the case of t-statistics, the significance level of the
significance line that is added to the plot. It is ignored
if
type = "coefficients".
xmax
upper value of graphical parameter
xlim.
prt.values
a logical flag for whether values are printed at end of bars.
shade
logical flag for whether will be shaded or filled with solid colors.
SIDE EFFECTS:
A Pareto plot is produced on the current graphics device.
DETAILS:
The significance lines are based on the assumption that all
statistics plotted have the same standard error. Single degree of
freedom t-statistics are comparable, and also coefficients from
fractional factorial designs.
