The following arguments have special meaning within this function.
The common meanings for these and all other arguments are listed separately
under
trellis.args.
ARGUMENTS:
formula
a formula in the form of:
~ x | g1 * g2 * ...
The
x variable is a numeric matrix of
p columns.
Optional given
variables, on the right hand side of the vertical bar,
are factors or shingles
used to parcel the
x observations out to various panels.
Each panel will display a parallel coordinate plot, where the
p variables
are represented by horizontal lines and each observation is a set
of line segments that goes from the relative position on the first axis
to its relative position on the second axis, etc.
VALUE:
an object of class
trellis,
which is automatically plotted by
print.trellis.
