Washington State Earthquakes In 1980

SUMMARY:

The quakes.wash data frame is a marked spatial point pattern data set listing the location, time, and magnitude of earthquakes in and around Washington State in 1980. The Mount St Helens volcano in Washington State erupted several times in 1980 including the massive eruption on May 18.

The data frame contains the following columns:

ARGUMENTS:

longitude
negative longitude of quake location.
latitude
latitude of quake location.
magnitude
the size of the quake.
date
the date of the quake, an object of class dates.
hour
the hour of the quake.
minute
the minute of the quake.
second
the second of the quake.
