Gets the definition of a class as stored on the metadata of an S chapter. By default,
getClass returns the full information about the class, but supplying either the
where argument to specify the chapter or just the argument
complete = F will restrict the information to exactly what is in the metadata.
USAGE:
getClass
(
Class
,
complete
,
where
)
REQUIRED ARGUMENTS:
Class
Name of a class.
OPTIONAL ARGUMENTS:
complete
If
complete = TRUE, gets the current definition of the class from the session (or an empty definition if
Class is not defined), including direct and indirect extensions of the class. If
complete = FALSE, or
where is provided, gets only the information explicitly in the metadata object defining the class (in this case, it is an error if there is none).
where
An object defining a database or a number representing its position in the search path.
VALUE:
Class representation object corresponding to class
Class.
