Pareto Plot
DESCRIPTION: Creates a Pareto plot (vertical bar plot) from a vector.
This function is an S Version 3 generic (see Methods);
method functions can be written to handle specific
S Version 3 classes of data. Classes which already
have methods for this function include:
lm
rsm.lm
fac.aov
USAGE:
pareto(x, ...)
pareto.default(x, xnames, xmax, sigline = F,
prt.values = T, shade = F, digits = 3, ...)
REQUIRED ARGUMENTS:
x
a vector.
OPTIONAL ARGUMENTS:
xnames
vector of names to be used as labels for
x
.
names(x)
is used if it exists.
xmax
upper value of graphical parameter
xlim
.
sigline
If given, a structure for drawing a significance line. Used by
pareto.fac.aov
and
pareto.lm
.
prt.values
a logical flag for whether values are printed at end of bars.
shade
logical flag for whether will be shaded or filled with solid colors.
digits
an integer specifying the number of digits for rounding the values
printed on the pareto plot. Only relevant if
prt.values
is
TRUE
.
...
graphical parameters for barplot (see
par
).
SIDE EFFECTS:
A vertical barplot, with bars corresponding to the values of
x
is
produced on the current graphics device.
