Plot Method for Shingles

USAGE:

plot.shingle(x, panel = panel.plot.shingle,  
             xlab, ylab, xlim, ylim, aspect, ...) 

ARGUMENTS:

x
a shingle.
panel
a function of two arguments, x, y, that draws the set of horizontal bars to represent the shingle x. The first half of the values in argument x gives lower limits for the shingle; the second half gives corresponding upper limits. The y-coordinates range from .5 to n+.5 if there are n levels to the shingle.
xlab, ylab
character strings giving labels for the x- and y- axes.
xlim, ylim
numeric vectors of length 2 giving minimum and maximum values for the x- and y- axes. By default, the axes on each panel will be set up accommodate the x and y values to be plotted on the panel.
aspect
aspect ratio control. A numeric value controls each panel's physical aspect ratio (vertical size/horizontal size). The string "fill" adjusts the aspect ratio so that the panel fill the page or screen. Graphical parameters may also be supplied as arguments to this function (see ). In addition, the high-level graphics arguments described under and the arguments to may be supplied to this function.

VALUE:

an object of class trellis, which is automatically plotted by print.trellis .
