The
lansing
data frame is a marked spatial point process data set of
1217 trees.
The location and species type is recorded for each tree.
This data frame contains the following columns:
"hickory"
or
"maple"
.
The data set from Diggle (1983) also included 346 red oaks, 448 white oaks,
135 black oaks and 105 miscellaneous trees, these trees are not included
in this data set.
The data are from a 19.6 acre square plot in Lansing Woods, Clinton County, Michigan, USA. It was originally described by Gerrard (1969). The values were copied from Diggle (1983).
