Extract Rows from a Dataset

DESCRIPTION:

Selects (subscript extraction) a row (or rows) from a 1- or 2-dimensional dataset, retaining that dimensionality.

USAGE:

select.rows(x, rows, columns=<<see below>>)

REQUIRED ARGUMENTS:

x
1- or 2-dimensional dataset whose row(s) will be selected. A 1-dimensional dataset is considered to be a single, unnamed column of length() rows.
rows
logical, integer, or character vector specifying the row(s) of x which is/are to be selected.

OPTIONAL ARGUMENTS:

columns
logical, integer, or character vector specifying the column(s) of x which is/are to be selected from rows of x. Ignored if x is a 1-dimensional dataset.

VALUE:

If x is a 2-dimensional dataset and columns is specified, the subscript extraction of rows, columns of x; otherwise, the subscript extraction of rows of x. The result will have the same dimensionality as x.
