The literal, unevaluated S-PLUS expression is returned. Unlike
expression(),
does not cloak it in an expression object.
USAGE:
Quote(...)
ARGUMENTS:
...
a single S-PLUS expression (may be any expression, including a braced
expression).
VALUE:
the input expression is returned unevaluated. The class of the return value
depends on the expression. Function calls have class
call
, braced expressions have class
"{"
, and so on.
NOTE:
The uppercase
Quote and
lowercase
quote are alternate
names for the same function. The lowercase one is often
used in R, although both are available there also.
