Reorder Columns

DESCRIPTION:

Returns a dataset with reordered columns.

This function requires the bigdata library section to be loaded.

USAGE:

bd.reorder.columns(data, columns=NULL)

REQUIRED ARGUMENTS:

data
input data set, a bdFrame or data.frame.

OPTIONAL ARGUMENTS:

columns
names or numbers of input columns to be output. The order of the output columns is determined by the order of columns in this argument. This argument may not include all of the columns: the remaining columns are dropped.

VALUE:

A bdFrame or data.frame, of the same type as data, with columns ordered according to the columns argument.

EXAMPLES:

## Get columns Type, Fuel, and Mileage, in that order.
bd.reorder.columns(fuel.frame, c("Type", "Fuel", "Mileage"))
